Hospice Program
Hospice Services are for terminally ill persons who have a life threatening illness and a short prognosis (six months or less). Both the individual and their family or significant other are cared for together.
Hospice makes the promises:
that the patient will not live
in pain or die alone.
This program is about life and not death. During the final months, life becomes a precious commodity. The Hospice Program assists the patient and family caregivers with medical guidance and support so the family members can spend quality time with their loved one.
Hospice is a program that provides palliative care in the home. The Hospice Program doesn't take the place of family but supports the family caregivers with a qualified Hospice Team 24 hours a day.
